"Many OU students have been Olympians"

"Now that the 2002 Winter Olympics are under way, OU freshman performing arts major Jean Racine is less than a week away from her race for the gold. Even though Racine is OU's first Winter Olympic athlete, she is not the first OU student to stand in the Olympic spotlight. Six other OU community members have made it to the Games as athletes or coaches in the past, and one has competed in the Paralympic Games."
