"Concert to pay tribute to professor emeritus"

"A memorial concert for composer Stanley Hollingsworth will be held Tuesday, Jan. 20, at noon in Varner Recital Hall. The hour-long event, which is free and open to the public, is part of the Arts at Noon series offered by Oakland University's Department of Music, Theatre and Dance. Hollingsworth was a composer-in-residence at Oakland University and taught composition, music theory and orchestration from 1976 to 1993. After retiring as professor emeritus, he returned to OU from time to time to teach a course or work with composition students"
