Grizzlies Healthy Planet Initiative

The Grizzlies Healthy Planet Initiative (GHPI) was announced by President Ora Pescovitz on Earth Day, April 22, 2022. The GHPI is organized into 10 committees, including academics, research, campus engagement, public engagement, environmental (operations, building maintenance, biodiversity, climate change, etc.), food and dining, investment and finance, transportation, well-being and work, and leadership. The committees are composed of a diverse team of faculty, staff and students tasked with drafting the university’s first comprehensive sustainability plan.
