dc.description.abstract"Meadow Brook Hall is again the backdrop to the internationally renowned Meadow Brook Concours d'Elegance. This year's event expands to a weeklong celebration featuring classic vehicles, high fashion, art and exceptional food, beginning Monday, July 26, and culminating with the 26th annual grand viewing on Sunday, Aug. 1. This year's Concours will highlight the cars of the Golden Age, 1927-1942, when Detroit was the undisputed motor capital of the world and automobiles were elaborate showcases that were customized to match their owners' lavish lifestyles."en_US
