"Alumni Volunteers Needed"

"The Oakland University Alumni Association currently is recruiting alumni volunteers to assist with two separate events supporting the OUAA Scholarship fund. The OUAA Scholarship fund awards more than $40,000 in scholarships to OU students each year and volunteers are instrumental to building the fund. On Saturday, Aug. 28, Parisian of Rochester Hills and Parisian of Livonia will sponsor "Celebrate Oakland University Day." Volunteers are needed to help greet store patrons and sell coupons at the door on the day of the event. Alumni volunteers also are needed for the OUAA-sponsored kettle corn stand at the Rochester Art and Apples Festival Sept. 10-12."
