"Despite the glitzy new casinos and football stadium, there's a side of Detroit that many would like to ignore: crumbling structures, empty lots and stately buildings that stand neglected and empty. Detroit artist Nancy Patek captures this side of the city through her Meadow Brook Art Gallery (MBAG) exhibit, 'Detroit Drawing: Works on Paper.'"
