Abstract

"Designed as a forum for sharing OU issues and topics, the latest Oakland Journal currently is being distributed throughout campus. The journal is filled with essays, poems and stories contributed by faculty, staff, alumni and students. In 'Forum: What's Good for the University?' professors and a provost deliberate the history - and future - of OU. Other items in this issue include racial profiling, Detroit's techno-music industry, and an essay about fashion and politics."
