"Ron Bertovich, a former Atlantic 10 Conference commissioner who most recently served as the executive vice president of administration for the National Hockey League's Buffalo Sabres, has been tabbed as the fourth commissioner of the Mid-Continent Conference. Bertovich fills the post formerly held by Jon Steinbrecher, who resigned as the Mid-Con commissioner in March to take the same job with the Ohio Valley Conference."
