dc.description.abstract | Since retirement, two and a half years ago, this is the time of year when I feel a bit at loose ends—there is less to do outside. and the last two winters I have done what many my age do, explore their ancestry, something that does not interest the young and does interest the old, when it’s almost too late. In so doing I realize I’ve been lucky—my Quaker and Waldensian family histories were part of major Protestant religious movements, and there is a story to tell. | en_US |
