Abstract

"Oakland University's School of Education and Human Services has produced an informational DVD about its graduate-level certificate program, Brain-Based Teaching and Learning. The film demonstrates applied brain-research techniques in a dynamic environment to create a low-threat, high-challenge classroom, optimizing student learning. Creativity, music as an instructional tool and memory techniques based on scientific research are highlighted."
