Almost one hundred OU alumni now employed at the university took the opportunity to discover OU's new initiative created with them in mind. On Thursday, January 17, 2008, the dual Offices of Undergraduate Admissions and Alumni Relations invited OU-employed alumni to drop in for lunch in order to meet the Coordinator of the new program and to discover the creative new outlets to become an Alumni Admissions Ambassador for their alma mater. Many arrived when the doors opened and stayed for the full hour, enjoying good food, reminiscing about old times, and looking ahead to their involvement in Oakland’s future.
