"Oakland University swimmer Tanya Korniyenko (Almaty, Kazakhstan) became just the second female swimmer in Oakland history to become an All-American after placing 15th in the 100-meter fly on March 19 at the NCAA Division I Women's Swimming and Diving Championships in College Station, Texas."
