dc.description.abstract	My thesis project explored the benefits of teaching throughout Bloom’s Taxonomy. I proved that having students study the techniques of suspense, identifying those same techniques in pieces of literature and film, and creating their own suspense films enhanced their learning experience. By researching the methodology behind Bloom’s Taxonomy, I uncovered techniques that can be related to developing reading skills and understanding of various genres of literature. Bloom’s Taxonomy can be used as a basis for teaching units to ensure maximum student learning. The study resulted in an examination of the benefits of utilizing Bloom’s Taxonomy when designing a teaching unit.	en_US
