The front reads: "1835 1935 Avon Township Double Jubilee, June 13, 14, 15, 16 Rochester, Michigan." The back reads: "This wooden certificate is issued by the AVON TOWNSHIP DOUBLE JUBILEE in commemoration of the 100th Anniversary of the Township of Avon and is redeemable for its face value in coin of the United States of America at the office of the said Avon Township Double Jubilee, up to 3 P.M., Monday, June 17th, 1935. Raymond Green President. No. 7225 C.W. Shepard Treasurer."
