dc.description.abstractTopics: Subcommittee of the Board of Trustees issued it's report endorsing autonomy, OU Girls Bowling League looking for bowlers, Patricia Houtz had article published, Alva Cobb named Program Chairman for the Michigan College Personnel Association, Friends of Kresge Library to hold book sale, "Birth and Death" to be shown by Association of Woman Students, seven gifts and grants totaling $202,254 accepted by Board of Trustees, Mel Cherno to host "Enrico Caruso: A Birthday Special" on WQRS-FM, Dean Lowell Eklund spoke at Birmingham's Berkshire Junior High and at Pontiac Catholic High School, Reverend Gerald O'Bee will participate in the WJR series "Quest for Mystique", Frederick Obear will speak at St. Lawrence High School in Utica, Luis Vargas had an article published in Mapacho, five new faculty appointed, Volume II of the Oakland Review distributed on campus, Roy A. Kotynek and Steven J Takiff promoted to Assistant Professors. Events calendar included.
