"A total of 55 student-athletes from Oakland University were named to the winter/spring 2003-04 Mid-Continent Academic All-Conference team, and for the winter 2004 term, 137 student-athletes representing all 14 varsity teams attained the Golden Grizzlies Excellence in Academics honor"
