The essay analyzes the poetry of Charles Baudelaire, Anna de Noailles, and Elizabeth Bishop. The essay also analyzes these poets' influence on the author's original poetry, specifically Elizabeth Bishop and the concept of "tourist poetry". It provides a discussion of the author's process of writing the chapbook, as well as touches on the difficulties of translating poetry while keeping the original meaning intact.Humanities and ReligionPoetryBishop, ElizabethOriginal workCritical analysisBaudelaire, Charles, 1821-1867de NoaillesFranceUnited States"Grander Things: A Collection of Original Work and Analysis of French and American Influences"Thesis
