Author shares experience of adventures online researching his ancestry.Since retirement, two and a half years ago, this is the time of year when I feel a bit at loose ends—there is less to do outside. and the last two winters I have done what many my age do, explore their ancestry, something that does not interest the young and does interest the old, when it’s almost too late.
