"Russi to chair Mid-Con Presidents Council"

"Oakland University President Gary Russi has been elected chair of the Mid-Continent Conference Presidents Council for the 2002-2003 academic year. The election took place during the council's annual summer meeting in Cedar City, Utah, and translates into chair positions for OU Director of Athletics Jack Mehl, who will chair the Directors Council, and Bill Macauley, associate dean for the College of Arts and Sciences, who will head up the Faculty Athletic Representatives."
