Meadow Brook Magazine

Permanent URI for this collection

Since 2010, Meadow Brook magazine has been a rich resource of the history and legacy of Meadow Brook Estate, a National Historic Landmark and the home of Oakland University's founders, Alfred and Matilda Dodge Wilson. Using archival documents, blueprints, photographs and some of the 75,000 artifacts in the museum's collection, the magazine explores the Dodge and Wilson families, their social and business lives, Meadow Brook Farms, and the men and women who worked and lived on the estate. Meadow Brook magazine also covers the present and future of the estate, including the challenges and successes in preserving and interpreting a major historical property, OU student internships and community events.

A self-supporting cultural institution on Oakland University's campus, Meadow Brook's mission is to preserve the estate and share the pioneering legacy of the Dodge and Wilson families by engaging and inspiring diverse audiences.
