Based on present assessed valu- ation figures, the county will need slightly more than $6 in taxes for every $1,000 in valuation. Expect- ed to be raised by taxes in.the 1959 plan is $10,672,280. Presently the county is re- ceiving $5 of the $15 tax limita- tion. , Making up the biggest hike in the tentative budget is a $2,000,000 appropriation for social welfare.
