Plan Opening New Hospital Tentative Date Set Oct. 1 for Community Hospital Near Romeo ROMEO — A tentative date, Oct. i, has been set for the opening of the new 32-bed Community Hos-| — pital on Van Dyke road, between Romeo and Almont, a_ hospital spokesman announced today. Meanwhile, plans are being made to move the hospital offices now located on S, Main street in Romeo into the hospital within the next two weeks. Hospital director Miss Lauretta Paul said she and her staff will make the transfer as soon as the ney office furniture is recieved and installed. In addition to interviewing per- sonnel to staff the hospital, ‘Miss. Special ceremonies will mark the event which also will feature an open house for residents of the 12 communities to be served by the new medical facility.
