Critch- field reminded workers that “the last 30 per cent is the s toughest.” About 250 volunteer so- licitors heard Critchfield’s statement read at a report luncheon in Stevens Hall, All Saints Church, by UF Publicity Chairman Robert W. Emerich. The reports showed that $358,036 of the $562,175 had been audited at cam- paign headquarters. | The drive is progressing at, about the same pace as last year, said Critchfield, “but’a great ef- fort is still needed to attain our goal.” Industrial Division Chairman George K. Zimmerman reported $217,699 collected, 25.8 per cent of the division’s goal. Firms included in the Pontiac , Manuufacturer’s Assn, are over their corporation-gift quota with $122,920 pledged against a $115,- 217 goal. Employes of firms in the asso- ciation have hit the~78.1 per cent mark with contributions of $248,- 968.
