Thomas of Commerce was ordained an elder at the annua] conference of the Methedist Church at Dearborn Sunday. On Monday he received his Bachelor of Divinity degree from the Graduate School of Theol- ogy, Oberlin College. At this time he also received an award for the best preaching in his class.
